This event will explore and promote strategies for increasing accessibility to technology careers for individuals from disadvantaged communities. The event will begin with a morning presentation highlighting the current landscape of inclusivity in tech. This will be followed by networking sessions to foster connections among attendees. The day will culminate in a panel discussion featuring STEM leaders and representatives from disadvantaged communities. The panel will showcase existing initiatives and engage in an in-depth exploration of how to attract more candidates from underrepresented backgrounds into STEM fields. The event aims to inspire action and collaboration among tech professionals, educators, and community leaders to create a more inclusive and equitable tech ecosystem.
